Halfway there!
Wow, I can't believe I'm more than halfway done with home MTC! It's going so fast, but I feel like I'm learning so much every day. We taught a couple lessons this week to some members in Mexico City, and they actually went pretty good! The members seemed to at least sort of understand what we were saying so that's improvement!
The other day during class my companion and I finished our task super quick, so we were talking to our teacher for a while. She was telling us that she's getting a vacuum next week, but she's pretty nervous about it. After a couple long minutes of being pretty confused and nodding our heads she asked us if we had gotten our vacuums yet... and we realized she meant vaccine not vacuum! We love trying to figure out Spanish while our teachers try to figure out English. Good times!
I'm thankful for home MTC and being able to go to farewells on Sundays! I'm excited for my boys to join me on the MTC journey, and I'm grateful for their great spirits and good examples!
