Happy New Years everyone!! I don't have a ton of time this week but I do want to share a few things that happened this week :)
New Years was obviously a blast and we got to spend it with President and Sister Youngberg (cause no one in our ward was available:/) and played cards with them and it was a blast!! We got to stay up until 12 and watch the fireworks and they were awesome! The main highlight of the week is probably the fact that I was able to finish our challenge of reading The Book of Mormon and I will testify that it is a true book and that it contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel. I read it with a question in mind and it blew my mind how many specific answers I received and how many of the verses in The Book of Mormon touched my soul. There are so many truths that I sometimes probably take for granted but I have been reminded of so many of them! I can easily say that I have come closer to my Savior this week and I am so thankful that because of His love and willingness to die for me, I can receive a remission of my sins and don't have to be the person that I've been before. There is such an amazing feeling in knowing that you are clean before God! It is a sense of peace that nothing else can give :) I invite you all to dive in a little deeper to the scriptures this week.
Another highlight of the week was that Anders (the guy we met last week that read the whole Book of Mormon 45 years ago) came to church! We asked him if he had the chance to pray and he said no, but that he has a plan, so we are hoping for the best!
I also went on exchanges with Elder Sagendorf! We were in the office together my first transfer here, so it was a nice reunion and he is an awesome missionary.
I love you all and hope that you have lots of new goals and plans for the new year! <3
This week we have 3 Zone Conferences so it should be fun! :) Äldste Balls
