Families can be together forever:)

Hey everyone!

This week has been so good.  Probably one of the best weeks of my whole mission honestly! This week I've really come to realize how thankful I am to be a missionary.  There is nothing else that I could be doing in my life right now that could give me as much joy as I'm experiencing.  I love Sweden, I love the Swedish people, I love God and Jesus Christ, I love my companion, I just love life! D&C 50:22 basically sums up my week: "Wherefore, he that preacheth and he that receiveth, understand one another, and both are edified and rejoice together." I truly have been being edified and rejoicing with the people we have taught!

1st awesome lesson of the week - We had it with those two Swedish brothers that we met a few weeks ago! We taught about the Holy Ghost and receiving an answer and how they thought their answer would come.  It lead to an amazing discussion about faith and we all read from Alma 32 together.  There was so much power as we taught from the scriptures and they truly felt the power of the Book of Mormon and so did we! We could tell that they felt it and the spirit only got stronger as we testified and invited them to read and pray from the Book of Mormon:) It is such an amazing feeling to help others feel the spirit! They really want to come to church!

2nd awesome lesson of the week - We have a friend that we're teaching that was first found by the missionaries a year ago but loves the gospel and the church.  He took a break from the missionaries for a while but has continued to come to church and be involved with everything! We have felt like we should meet him again and he really wanted to as well.  He opened up about a lot of things and said that he feels like there is this light in front of him that he just wants to grab and commit to! He has been so prepared during his break from the missionaries! He is so sincere and loving, I love him so much and he is also just the coolest guy ever! We're so excited to continue to work with him and help him!

3rd awesome lesson of the week - Remember that miracle last week with the member that called and had two friends that wanted to get baptized? Well we met them on Friday and she wasn't lying! The two people that want to get baptized are actually part of a part member family and the dad is fully active and was baptized 2 years ago.  We got there and got to know them, taught about the Book of Mormon and again had such a strong spirit as we used the Book of Mormon.  It was during that lesson - where we had the whole family gathered around, flipping pages around in the Book of Mormon trying to find a scripture - that I truly felt something special.  I felt like this is what being a missionary is about: helping families become one through the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am just so thankful that I have the chance to help and just be a part of it.  I'm so thankful to be a missionary! :) The family also came to church and were involved with the new youth program and yeah! The Mom and the daughter want to get baptized either the end of October or the beginning of November :)

We had other awesome lessons this last week but these were the ones that really stood out to me this past week!

Another HUGE highlight from today actually was that I GOT TO PLAY TENNIS!!!! It was so fun and let me just say it is such a satisfying feeling to just have a solid stroke.  I haven't lost too many of my skills! We played with some members and apparently the dad was #2 in Sweden when he was younger! It was some quality tennis and it felt so good to play again, words cant describe it!

Also, General Conference is happening this week! I LOVE GENERAL CONFERENCE SO MUCH and am so thankful that we have a living prophet on the earth today to lead and teach us! It is definitely worth your time!

I love you all and hope you have a great week!
