Hey everybody first off Spring is here in Kungsbacka! The weather has been AMAZING and I have the short sleeve shirts out already.
This week has been pretty busy because we have been doing lots of service! No joke, we did service pretty much every single day! On Tuesday we were able to do service for a returning member and pulled weeds on his property for 3 hours. We were able to just talk and get to know him and he really opened up to us :) He said that he needs more help this next week! After that project, we went straight to some more service for another member! We helped her trim her bushes and a tree that she has. Takes me back to the days when I would work out in the yard with my Dad :') We couldn't quite finish everything on Tuesday so we went back and finished up on Thursday. On Friday evening we felt like we needed to go by a member and when we showed up, he was out in his yard working and asked if we would be willing to help, before we could even ask. Every missionary's favorite question :) On Saturday we helped a member move - so we've had our fair share of service this last week.
I will say that it is really nice to just give of yourself and of your time to help others. One of my favorite quotes from conference was that one way we can always remember our Savior Jesus Christ is by lifting and encouraging those around us :)
We also went on splits again this week and I was with Elder Thompson again! This time we were in his area and I got to meet lots of neat people and invite others to listen to General Conference :)
Another exciting thing that happened this week was transfer calls! My predictions got rekt because I found out that I will be transferring, instead of Elder Fronk!! I will be going back to the Stockholm area to be in a city called Södertälje. I'm stoked! We're going to have a car and apparently it has the nicest apartment in the mission😎 I will be serving as a Zone Leader with Elder Young, who was actually my District Leader back when I was in Gävle. He is a stellar missionary so we're going to make some miracles happen! :)
I'm sad to leave Kungsbacka and all the amazing members here, but going to Södertälje feels right and I will be stretched and will need to rely on the Lord more than ever before. Elder Fronk will be staying here in Kungsbacka and will be getting Elder Udeji who I knew before he became a missionary (he's from Sweden).
What an amazing weekend it was though. I was able to listen to our prophet and the 12 apostles! I haven't seen all the sessions yet, but I know that what they have shared is inspired and I have received so many answers to what I need to do! I can't wait to read and reread all the addresses when they come out. I know that our prophet is inspired and that we need to protect our families more than ever before! The world is getting increasingly wicked so we need to rise up and serve the Lord! If you haven't had the chance to watch conference, copy this link into your browser:
