I'm actually blown away by how fast time has been going. I have been here in Kungsbacka for 4 weeks and I feel like I've been here for 1. Crazy. I guess that time goes by fast when you're having fun and working hard!
This has been a pretty great week but it has been insanely wet! It has rained A BUNCH. It makes biking even harder because when you take ice and add rain you get slush. Slush is not fun and my feet have gotten soaked a few times... Today has been amazing though! The sun is shining and there's not a cloud in the sky! Spring is on its way.
Like I said, this week went by very quickly because we just did lots of finding so that has been fun! One of the greatest things as a missionary is being able to feel the spirit testify of the truth of the gospel through you. We had an experience this week where we were able to testify of the Plan of Salvation and the spirit was just so strong as we testified of the blessing it has been for our families to know that families can be together forever. We could tell that she felt the spirit, but sadly she declined wanting to take a Book or Mormon :( We asked if she knew anyone that would be interested and she said that the people that live in the next house down would maybe be interested! We went over there and a very old couple lives there (90+) but we talked about the Book of Mormon and they were genuinely interested and wanted to learn more! We will be coming back on Saturday since he wanted time to read :)
We also had splits this week with the Västra Frölunda Elders and I was able to be with our district leader Elder Moss and it was great! He is a super solid guy and just one of those people that it is easy to get along with :) He is also a very wise missionary and I learned a lot!
I've studied a lot about The Plan of Salvation and it is so amazing how important the family is in the whole plan. As a family we are there to support each other in our quest to learn and become like Jesus Christ. I'm so thankful for a family that has always been there to support me whether it be tennis, school or music, but especially in the gospel. I know that families can be together forever through being sealed for time and all eternity in the temple.
