Hey so I don't have a ton of time today, but this week was pretty neat! This week was also LONG!

We got transfer calls this week and I was dreading it because I was so scared that I was going to get transferred, but I'm going to stay in Gävle for another 6 weeks!!! I'm so pumped to work super hard and make some things happen here!!

One of the most exciting things that happened this week is that it is December!! That entails lots of things:

1. Gävlebocken is up!! That's the huge straw goat that they put up every year here in Gävle and then someone always finds a way to burn it down.  Good news is that it hasn't burned down yet so I've gotten some good pics with it :)  It is HUGE.  It's a pretty cool symbol for the town and everyone here has been talking about it.

2. Light the World started!!!! On Saturday we had an activity with the branch where we came and wrote postcards to people who haven't been in church for a while as well as members wrote their testimonies in Books of Mormon that we can give to people! Afterwards we went and got some bread from a member's bakery and we gave it to beggars on the streets :) It was such an amazing experience honestly.  Seeing the people's faces light up as we gave them some bread really helped me understand just how amazing my life is and how blessed I am.  I'm a missionary in Sweden helping people live the gospel.  We have a nice apartment, warm water, members feed us, we have nice coats that keep us warm.  There's so much to be grateful for.

3.  It is cold!! Not really anymore but earlier in the week we were out tracting and it was just bitter.  We found out that it was -13 degrees c! Don't worry it's warmed up quite a bit and yesterday it was 4 degrees c so we're good.

Otherwise the week was good! We were able to meet with a returning member and her non member daughter for the first time after trying to set something up for sooooo long! It was awesome and we were able to pray with them and gave them a chapter in the book of mormon to read :) Also the friends of the members that came last week came this week as well! They even came on their own because the member's daughter was sick! Things are going well :)

I hope you all have an awesome week and that you are able to appreciate this amazing time of the year where we can remember Christ's birth and follow his example and give as he gave :) Please check out the first video for Light the World at if you haven't done it already!
