The Lord places people in our path and we're all just a part of the process!

So this week went by way too fast and it feels like last p-day was yesterday.  Here we are again!

So honestly this week was pretty average haha, but average still means good! This week we did lots of tracting, had a few lessons with some new converts, and did more bus contacting.  We were able to give out some Books of Mormons while tracting. It is still so cool to feel promptings for when to bring up the Book of Mormon in a conversation.  A few people said that we could come back and talk more about the book next week, so yay! Also, if anyone is into hockey: I met the dad of number 29 on the Washington Capitals this week and we were able to give him a Book of Mormon.  Pretty neat!

One neat experience this week was after District Council.  We were taking the bus home because our bikes hadn't been fixed, and I started talking to this super nice guy who happens to come from Lund - the place where I started my mission!  Sadly, he had to get off really fast and I didn't get to finish my conversation with him... :( BUT later that night as we were taking the bus home, guess who gets on - the same guy!! We were able to continue our conversation and we were able to talk about why I was here in Sweden and he shared that everyone that he has met who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is such a good person.  He shared that about 4 years ago after he went through some really hard things, some missionaries sat next to him on a train and he could feel the spirit around them and it really comforted him. It's so cool to see how the Lord places people in our path and we're all just a part of the process.
Also, we had a really good member message with a family that has us over for dinner every week.  We talked about General Conference and how one thing that was emphasized was that we are responsible for our own salvation.  We are the only ones who will be able to keep ourselves on the covenant path.  We shared Alma 5:45-46 and then out of no where the spirit spoke through me and I asked them when they first received a witness that the Book of Mormon was true.  We all took a turn going around the room telling about our own conversion story and the feelings of joy and peace that came with it.  The spirit was so strong and it was so special to see the parents testifying of their experiences that they had with the Book of Mormon when they were younger with their kids.  I'm so thankful for my testimonies of the Book of Mormon and that I have written them down so that when life does get rough, I can turn to them for strength and faith.

We went to Gamla Gävle today so that was neat! I got lots of good pics. Then we are heading to Borlänge for work overs tonight! I've never done work overs so it should be fun! We have a pretty crazy week planned since its Äldste Ashford's last and then I will be getting a new companion!

I hope you all have an awesome week!
