The Islander Approach, Cancelled Capilla Abiertas, and another week in the best work there is!

Hola!

As mentioned in the previous emails, I'm back in San Juan, the northernmost area in the mission territory, which means even as we're tipping back into summer again, it's still really hot... I'm also aware that talking about the months of March as being hot is weird for us estadounidenses. Especially when talking about summer in the months of December and January, but hey, that's the southern hemisphere for you... Anyway, mom sent me my Lava-lavas! They've been life-savers for the heat. And so, I made more of them! See the pictures for a preview of the first of various to come!

In other news, we got confused about an open chapel we were going to have after General Conference, but after a few reliable, well organized young women told us that it wasn't this last Saturday - but the 28th, we felt a little silly...

We've really been having a lot of fun here overall, even with the heat. Teaching up a storm with investigators and so forth. But we're really having a lot of fun. Elder Perez is a capo, and his guatemalteco accent is always a blast. Anyways not a whole lot much else to report on this front, Have a great week! Love you all! More to follow in the next installment!

Elder Bigley
