4th Mission Assignment - Los Pinos

Elder McCausland

Gaining Momentum, in the Work, in the Area, and Personally

Hola amigos y familia!
...So first things first; P-day was nice-- we went to a labyrinth - and lost ourselves in the work - haha! After which we chilled out. It was a ton of fun - complete with bamboo thickets, cool ponds, hardcore parkour, ukuleles, and all the rest.
Tuesday was interesting... Mainly occupied with companion exchanges which teamed me up with Elder Lucero, my Zone Leader. He's a great guy who hails from Santiago, Chile.
From Wednesday to Saturday, we worked - and around here that means lots of walking, lots of talking to people, sprinkled with stopping by the eatery of Sister Hilda and helping out with feeding the hungry niños.
Sunday was church, and it was great! The members gave some awesome talks, great classes, and todo joya.

Today, (P-day again) we'll be playing ball over in one of the chapels with the zones. Pictures to follow next week.
That's all this week damas y caballeros! I'm working on finding a zapateria (shoe-shop) around here, to get new insoles on these shoes. What with all the walking, I've put a lot of wear and tear on my shoes (new when I left on my Mission). They have worn some pretty respectable holes on the insoles on the inside. It's been making walking a lot more of a pain but I've been padding it out with cotton wads recently... It's not the same, but I'm looking into a major refit. I'll be writing more next week!

Amor para todos ustedes,
Elder Bigley

P.S. Hey Bella, I'm back with Elder Burnett in my district!
