Elder Johnson & Elder Washington

Week 13

This was a very spirit felt week! Brian was BAPTIZED! It was so awesome he is such a stud! The Faith he has, has helped grow mine exponentially! It was such a cool thing to see him make that special covenant with him and our Heavenly Father.

This Christmas was a blast! Me and all the Elders had so much fun! We ate so much food and in this mission we are allowed to watch 1 Cartoon Disney movie and at the end of the day we all decided to watch the new Toy Story 4! I don't know if it was just because I haven't seen a movie in 3 months or because of all the Sparkling Cider we drank but I have never laughed so hard in my life haha! One of our Elders decided to shotgun a Dr. Pepper with a pen and when he stabbed the can the ink exploded into the soda and he didn't realize it until he drank the whole soda and he ended up getting Ink poisoning so that's pretty unique hahahaha!

The night of Christmas Eve me and all the Elders had the opportunity to go and bring Christmas gifts and a Christmas tree to a great little family we teach who wasn't able to have presents this year due to hospital bills for their little girl who was born with Autism and has sadly had to have a decent amount of surgeries. So me and all the Elders last Monday went to the store and bought all we could with the money we had and wrapped them all (horribly) and left them on their doorstep with a Christmas tree! We came back 2 days later to teach them and unfortunately the family knew it was us because of those darn camera doorbells. But the gratitude that the father and mother had is something I will never forget!

I Love this Church and all the feelings it brings me!
