Week 1 recap!!!!!!!
First email from the CCM (MTC) wow... anyways hope you guys are doing good. This week has been pretty chill actually, a little slow but also went by pretty quick. If im being honest I didnt expect much coming to the MTC here in Mexico but it literally is so much better than I thought, and really pretty too.
Arriving in Mexico I already met half my district and a bunchhhh of others too it was sick, and everyone is super nice and really excited (I talked to 2 people) but still super cool. Took us about an hour to get to the CCM and its literally highly armed and guarded, lets just say im feeling safe right now. 😍 Anyways we had an earthquake and theres a bunch of "fireworks" and loud bangs, the teachers said they are either gun shots, fireworks, or both... But its chill, OH AND TO TOP IT OFF i just loveee sleeping to the beautiful sounds of police sirens.. and more fireworks... hehe... (pretend i put a serious face emoji here 😊)
First day at the CCM I met my full district and it was super cool they were all as chill as they were on the zoom call back at home and were seriously having such a good time, especially at gym where we just go absolutely crazy at volleyball, it was so intense so absolutely insane we had the whole CCM cheering (it wasnt that eventful)Also long story short my companion got absolutley rocked in the face by a volleyball, but hes fine... anyways meeting the districts in our house was cool they are all a bunch of chill guys that are super devoted to christ and being missionaries so ya. That pretty much sums up the first day and primera semana.
I want to share a scripture that I think is really nice, someone in our home devotional actually gave it and I think its really important for all of us to hear it. The scripture is Romans 8:38-39 and it says: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Its super important for us to know that no matter how deep in a hole were in or how sad or how distant we feel from our Savior, He will always love you, and He will always be there for you. :)
I love every single one of you and I miss all of you, I hope you guys are having a great time. Buena Suerte!!!!
