This week was the last week of this transfer. We ended it with a bang! We had more lessons this week than we have any other week this transfer. It seemed like we were always busy. We never ran out of things to do. The ward is doing a 40 day fast for missionary work. The 40 day fast is where people in the ward pick a day out of 40 to fast for missionary work. It's pretty cool and we have really seen miracles from it. Fasting works!
One interesting thing that happened this week was we got a tour of a masonic lodge. It was very interesting. The guy who took us on the tour is an investigator who pretty much is a member, just not baptized. He will get baptized some day.
Weird story of the week. On Saturday, there was a lot of religious excitement going on downtown. The Jehovah's witnesses were out doing their thing, we were out, there were some random christian people holding huge signs telling everyone to repent, and then there were the "Jesus is black" people. Pretty much what they believe in is that Jesus is black. They search through scriptures and find things that they think refer to Jesus being black. Most of it is taken completely out of context. It is quite hilarious to watch. They bash with everyone that walks by them. They are even hooked up to a sound system so everyone can hear. We were put on camera so you might see us if you go on their website? Anyways, crazy stuff.
Since it's the end of the transfer, I got a transfer call and will be transferred to Bellevue. That's where I started my mission. It should be fun!
Sorry this email was so short today. I hope you all can have a great week!
