Elliot Bay (Seattle North Zone)

Elder O'Laughlin

Hello everyone!

I honestly need to be more creative in my title lines. But for today, "Hello" works. I'll see what I can do in the future. But this week was good despite my uncreative title for my email today. It is starting to be that year again. It is getting cold and rainy.... yay. But miracles still will happen in the rain.

We are teaching a few people at the moment. We were teaching this one guy and during the lesson, we asked him if it would be important for him to feel the love of God through the Holy Ghost. His response was "Not at the moment". Meh. That was not the response we were hoping for. Who knows if this man is ready or not. I guess we will find out the next lesson with him.

Cool story of the week. We were just getting off a train when someone cancelled their appointment with us. We had no other back-ups besides contacting downtown. Suddenly a less active lady came to our minds, so we decided to give here a visit. We had been trying to get in contact with her for a few weeks before this moment, with no luck. She never answered her phone or call box to her apartment. When we get to here apartment, we call her through the call box. She answered! Wow! She came down and we started talking to her. She told us she now has pancreatic cancer... Later on in the lesson, she was telling us how she was praying for guidance just a few hours before we showed up. Miracles! We know that the Lord guided us to visit this lady so we can help her come back to His fold.

Great things are happening here in Seattle, and there are greater things coming our way. I know that as long as we are worthy, God will guide us in our every day lives. Have a great week!
