Area

Elliot Bay (Seattle North Zone)

Companion

Elder O'Laughlin

Elliot Bay

Dear Mom,

Seattle North is great! My area is called the Elliott Bay ward and it covers the heart of downtown Seattle. Tons of fun. Honestly, my motivation to missionary work was going down in Duvall, but it is going up now that I am here. My new companion is Elder O'Laughlin. He is from Virginia so that's pretty cool. At least he doesn't hate on Utah. I think I will get along with him.

It sounds like you had a great time down at the wedding. It's too bad that Doug didn't go to his son's wedding. Is it because he isn't married and he is just salty about that. Whatever the reason, it is too bad. I am going to miss being able to see uncle Bret in Redmond. They really are strong active members and they are a great family. Maybe one day Brody will get back into the groove of church and stuff. Miracles do happen.

The band seems small this year. I wonder if the band will ever go above a 3A. No matter how cool the big bands are, it is nice to be able to know everyone in the band by their name. I hope they can do well this year with that many bands in their division.

I don't think I would use a voice recorder. It sounds pretty cool, but it would probably just sit on my desk.

I do have pictures for today! There are lots of cool things to take pictures of around here. I will try and remember to take my camera wherever I go. Hope you have a great week!

Love,

Elder Moulton
