Dear Dad,
I am so glad to hear the news of your job extension thing at ATK! The power of prayer is real!
It does make me feel better to know that my stupid choice is low on what missionaries do. What do you talk about when you talk about missionaries, particularly me? If you can't share, it is ok.
So, my finger doesn't actually hurt. Today it started having these sharp needle like pains where I have no feeling at all. I am just excited to get the tendon/nerve fixed so I can know that I will recover. I am sure you know how it is to have surgery and recover on a mission. At least with my injury, I can still walk around and stuff:)
Sundays are pretty much like any other day in the world of missionary work, except we go to church. It is sad that I am starting to realize that I see people now as investigators, members, Less-actives, and recent converts. I can definitely understand why it will be weird to come home and go back to normal life. Stats and stuff are good, but it can make people miss the point. I sometimes worry about our "key indicators" too much, rather than focusing on the things that matter the most, like serving the Lord, and why I am out here.
