This week was super sick! Elder Brooks and I decided to treat ourselves last P-day to a chidaobao hotpot, which was delicious to the taste. Some words of advice, the chocolate fountain isn't milky and the maple syrup is honey. Yeah and then a sister in our ward invited us to dinner at her house the next day, but we didn’t realize the address she gave us was another chidaobao place. I’m still full.
Every week, every chapel in Taiwan holds English class for anyone who wants to come. The Sisters in our district teach it, but we help contact people afterwards. A couple weeks ago we met a super awesome girl, 丁姐妹, who has a brother who is a member. He told her if she wants to know about the church, go to one of the English classes. We started meeting with her, and she started coming to church, reading the Book of Mormon, and praying. This week we found out she lives two streets out of our area, so we met one last time with her and set a baptismal goal and passed her off to the other Elders! I think the biggest help in her speedy conversion was when we asked her to talk to her brother about what he likes about the Book of Mormon. He told her that it was just so simple. It is!! I love that book. Read it!!
