So news came in and Elder Bertha and I will be spending another 6 weeks together in Nantou! I love this place, and our ward just keeps amazing me everyday. Like yesterday during testimony meeting, everyone decided to get up and bare testimony on why they should send their kids to BYU and why it’s better than Taiwanese colleges. I was very moved by their passion for my school. Also, our ward mission leader again this week asked us to go have fun on p-day and when inquired on as to whether or not he would be skipping class to do so he replied, "Not telling." I mean he is studying social work so the best practice would to be social, right?
After church yesterday we met again with our stud investigator 吳弟兄。He finally read in the Book of Mormon and it was so cool to see how big of an effect that had on him. He seems to have more direction and willingness to allow this gospel to take plant into his life.
We also asked our ward to post an ad into the local facebook groups a couple nights ago, and it immediately brought a bunch of referrals with a few saying they would have interest in the gospel! English class has so much potential here because most are willing to listen to a message if we are taking the time to teach them English.
