Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a great week full of thanks and happiness. Here in Taiwan, people don't really celebrate it, so 6 of us missionaries ate turkey rice (which I think they make with chicken) and that was our Thanksgiving meal! Luckily the members here love American traditions so they had a Thanksgiving activity on Saturday with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and more chicken that they called turkey haha. The 4 Elders in our ward were asked to perform a musical number too... I won’t be sending that video for y’alls sake!
We found this miracle investigator this week. My companion and I were riding our bikes by the stadium when I saw this girl on a bike. I was prompted to go talk to her, but I brushed it off seeing that she was on the phone. Luckily, right when we passed she hung up and my companion started talking to her. She said she had been to another church before but has not been baptized yet. We said perfect and set up with her for Saturday! When we met with her, the other ward was having a baptismal service, and she was able to witness that and stay for the rest of the service. She loved it and came to church the next day too! I am so excited to see how the Lord is preparing others the same way He has prepared this girl!
