Family and Friends,
Zulema decided to follow her daughter into the waters of baptism this past weekend. We're really happy with their desires and progress! We're hoping to help her husband start to understand a little more about the Priesthood and the Restoration so he can follow as well and they can progress as a family.
This week we were able to teach our ward mission leader's 11 year old nephew whose mom died a few weeks ago. We didn't speak much about the topic yet but he was close to tears a few times in the lesson. He has a lot of support from his family and lots of desires to learn more so we have a lot of hope that he'll gain a testimony and get baptized soon.
We also had a 30 minute conversation with a Buddhist Chinese lady the other day. It was an interesting conversation to say the least. I learned that Google Translate is amazing and that I have no idea how to teach someone who knows very little about God and whose culture has nothing to do with Him.
A closing thought: Every time the voice of God is distinguished from that of Christ in the scriptures, He always testifies of His Son. Ex: 2 Nephi 32:11, 15
Love you all!
