Family and Friends,
This week we had a tough time finding good people, but we did find a few less actives that have non member relatives. One of them was a guy with two kids that`s not going to church because he got offended. He`s getting close to getting over it, though. I`ve been wanting to visit him for a while(the Spirit I`m sure) but never had the chance to. So I finally got the opportunity and i just had him talk about his mission, because my comp told me he had a very successful mission. And he definitely did. I`m 99% sure he has the record of baptisms in his mission. He told us he baptized 38 in his first 2 months and they were a big family of Jehovah`s Witnesses, which are almost always hard-hearted and argumentative. So we had a good talk about it all. One thing I`ve learned is that those who are less active had to have gained a testimony at some point and reminding them of these moments helps "wake them up" so to speak. If you want to help someone that`s gone cold towards the Gospel, talk to them about when they were warm. Living the Gospel is happiness and sometimes they need a reminder of that. I finished the book Jesus the Christ this morning. Just want to say that I know He lives and can bless your life more than you can imagine. All you have to do is reach out to Him a little.
QOTW: “The Lord's hand is in our lives; if we will but feel for it, in the darkness, we can grasp it and be lifted thereby.”-James Talmage
Love you all!
