Don Torcuato

Elder Orona

Transfer 6 Week 2

Family and friends
This week was decent. We looked for new people a lot, but didn`t find much. We had a national paro this week(public transportation strike), so we had to walk our whole area Tuesday. And we basically did walk it all. It was unfortunate but it is what it is.
On Thursday we did divisions and I stayed in my area with an elder that has a week in the mission. I realized it was the first time I was alone with someone that can`t speak a lick of Spanish and has no idea what he`s doing. We had a good time though. We contacted a lot and at one point talked to some hard-hearted ladies on the street. I bore an unusually strong testimony to them and it didn`t phase them, but then the new elder bore his and one of them accepted a Book of Mormon. You always hear stories of that happening but watching it do so when you`re the one that actually knows the language, it`s an odd but cool experience.
