Elder Yang

A definition of white days

A specific letter to his dad:
Yeah those charges (the $600 withdrawn from his bank account) were for the dental work because I can't figure out how to put money on my card here. There really isn't a way to do it so I'm just taking out cash and paying for it that way.
I'm making progress with my tooth and I go back I think Friday to have more work on it. They took off the permanent retainer last Friday so they could do the work. Yeah a lot of stress and money going into this. It's about 1000 yen to get there (Tokyo) by train each time too, but that is reimbursed (by the mission office).
Other than that, we have had so many white days!! That means we have nobody to teach right now. All of our investigators basically said they didn't have any interest and won't give us their contact info. or anything so that we can keep in touch with them. So that is frustrating and they won't come to church either. So basically right now we have no investigators who are progressing. So yeah I will explain more in another email about everything.
Thanks for the concern and the experience/dream you had because that gave me a little more confidence. Thanks. (Sid woke up this morning -Sunday, February 26, 2017-remembering a distinct dream he had about Elder Hatch. He was speaking Japanese very well. That was definitely worth sharing with him).

Love ya Dad,
Elder Hatch
