Week 1

Hello everybody! Well its only my fourth day here but I'm already learning so much. The first few days were a little rough because they kinda just drop you in the middle of all of it. Now I got the hang of it...kinda. All the classes are amazing, you get so much done that a day feels like a week and your brain is dead by the end of the night.

First let me tell you about my companion. His name is Elder Michael Watchman and he is from Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a super great guy and so anxious to go out and serve. Its gonna take me some getting used too having someone always by my side. Its a good feeling though. Um, my district is the best in the MTC. Everyone in there is so hardworking and we are able to focus and get so much done. Everyone in my district is going to argentina so we are all in the same shoes. 4 including me and my comp are going to Cordoba and then everyone else is going somewhere in Buenos Aires.

The food is okay, it gives me what I need..... and the atmosphere is my favorite part. Seeing all of these young guys and girls (about 50/50) so anxious to serve our heavenly father. All wearing the name of Jesus Christ, in all sorts of different languages. Wearing my name tag feels like such an honor, I feel so lucky to be representing the church of Christ and being able to display that. As excited as I am to head to Argentina, I know that these next 6ish weeks are gonna get me ready so I can hit the ground running! I am so thankful for all of the teacher and workers here. There are so many people involved here at the MTC and without them we couldnt have nearly as good of an experience.

The language is AMAZING, I have always loved the Spanish language and it is so cool to be learing so much about it. I've been putting in so much work to learn it and I have already seen so much progress. I also realized how little high school spanish teaches you! I got the opportunity to teach an investigator that came into the MTC yesterday. They bring in these people for us to teach and it is such good practice. His name was Marcos and he didnt speak any english, solomente espanol. I had to study and prep so hard because of the language but it actually went very well. I was able to tell him about the book of mormon and the restoration. But what was crazy is he could understand me and I could understand him! I was able to bear my testimony to him and the spirit was so strong, I have been so blessed to be able to understand this language. My companion was lost the whole time but thats okay, we're only 3 days in and we're studying a ton.

I have loved the emails from you guys and the support from back home. You guys have to check out Dear You can type up a letter to me and send it and they print it out here and give it too me the same day!

I miss you all but there is so much work to be done. I am so thankful to be a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I cant wait for the experiences to come.

Sabo la inglesia es verdadera. Yo se que el Libro de Mormon is verdadero. Estoy muy agradecido por la oportunidad servir. Nosotros superamos todos. Jesucristo es me Salvador, y yo muy agradecido por el.

Con mas amor
