Elder Isaac Crosby

Week #59

It's October and my most favorite month. I miss being with my family during the holidays, but I'm loving every minute of the mission right now. Last Saturday we had whats called a white night with our district and we had 15 people get baptized! It was so awesome to be a part of it. We had three of our investigators get baptized. We worked so hard with them to get them to this point. President Amato and his family came as well as three other stake presidents. Overall, there were probably about 75 people that came to support their family or friends getting baptized. So cool. I baptized Luis and Franco and Elder Crosby baptized Dayanna. Little Franco had to get dunked two times and he was so dang mad because his head didn't go all the way under the water. He was too anxious and was already pushing with his feet to come up before he was all the way under because the water is so freaking cold. haha

Next week is already transfers. I'm most likely going to be transferred out of Campoy because I have been in this area for 18 weeks. I have loved training Elder Crosby and we have had a great time together. He is doing so well, much better than I was doing at this stage of the mission. lol

We don't get to go to church next week because they have to count votes or something and nothing can be open. Everyone has to stay in their homes. So we can't even watch conference at the church. Who is super excited for conference? We have all been trying to guess what the new changes will be, especially with the missionary program! We are also so very blessed as a mission because President Nelson is coming to speak to us on October 20th. It will be super dope and I'm super excited to hear all that he will teach us. Overall, it was a pretty good week, working hard and seeing the results from our labors! Hope you all have a great week too!
