Elder Joel Lopez

Week #46

Another quick week for us! We had one baptism of a boy named David. We had a thing called a Noche Blanca. It's where all the zone gets together and all the people we have set for baptism on that date and we baptize them all. There were only six who came, two fell through which was kinda sad. It took a long time to do all of the baptisms.

We also had zone conference this past week. They called out the missionaries who had birthday's in June and sang to them and then they cut a big birthday cake for everyone. They forgot about me and I just sat quietly until one of my old companions ran up and told them they forgot Elder Baird, so then I had to go up solo in front of everyone. I was like oh ya thanks dudes. lol I had to say goodbye to some Elders that I was really close with. They are super awesome dudes. They are finishing up their missions this next week and will be going home.

This past week has been kinda hard. We haven't found any new people and it's getting really frustrating. Yesterday we went and ate at a members house and again I got given soup with chicken feet in it. My companion was like, Hey, are you going to eat those feet? I was like, um no buddy take them and he did and ate them whole! It grosses me out, but the rest of the soup is actually really good.

Not much else to say this week. I hope you all have a great 4th of July back at home. Love you guys so much.
