So, I really tried to keep a good attitude with everything everyone was telling me beforehand about my new companion. Let's just say it's going to be a very long six weeks. This week has definitely been one of the hardest. I've wanted to run myself out the window several times I can handle a lot and everyone told me that I can get along with everyone cause I'm a chill kid, but when you don't ever brush your teeth or have any kind of hygiene, and are super bossy that's about all I can take! One of the other Elder's in our room has to tell him to brush his teeth everyday. lol So we are getting to know each other I guess. He doesn't like that I talk to my pension like she's my mom or that I study with her an hour after lunch everyday on my Spanish. He thinks I should talk to her more professional and only about missionary stuff. I'm already kinda tired of him, but we will do our best to work together hard. I can tell that I'm going to have be better at standing my ground with him. My pension and her husband had to have a sit down with him because he is so bossy to everyone.
My comp doesn't speak too much in the lessons we give and that's okay because he doesn't brush his teeth, so I do most of the talking, which is good for everyone and helps me too. lol My Spanish has really come along way. I can understand pretty much everything that is being said around me now. The tutoring lessons with my pension have helped so much.
Elder Rinco is also a new companion that is in our apartment. I believe he is from Columbia. He is companions with Elder Nelson in our room and I get along really well with him, so I'm pretty happy about that.
As for the rest of the week, pretty much the same schedule. Nothing too exciting to tell about. Pray for patience for me this week plleeaasse! I'm going to try to help him out as much as I can. He only has two months left. The computer wouldn't read my USB stick today, so no pictures this week!
Love you all!
Elder Kaeson Baird
