Wow! We've had an amazing couple of days this past week! We were able to baptize an amazing family, the Solorzanos....Yoset, Sandra, Sebastin and Alyna. They are a very cool family. I love them very much. We had four baptisms on Saturday and then the sister missionaries had two on the same day with us. Our mission president, President Amato also came to be apart of it as well. At times the mission president needs to do the interviews in certain circumstances. They also don't usually do confirmations right after the baptism here, they do it in sacrament meeting on Sundays. So yesterday it was so so long, like it took 40 minutes to get through everybody. The Stake President was also present because we had so many baptisms in one day, he had to see for himself. lol Our area is usually the lowest in baptism numbers. In the past year, there were only 6 baptisms for the entire year and we had 6 in one day. He was shocked, we are just cool like that I guess. Overall, the baptism itself was a neat experience to be able to baptize an entire family. I'm getting my practice in too....I baptized the little girl 3 freaking times! lol Not because of the language problem this time, but her hair wouldn't stay down. Note to self, make sure hair is in a ponytail or pulled back before baptizing any girls.
Yesterday, we showed the Solorzano family how to do family search. I was just messing around with mine and it goes so far back. It was really cool to see. I never really cared about that stuff before my mission.
Well, thats about all the good stuff for the week. It was a great one. Love you guys so much!
