Chocolate Chip or White Macadamian Nut!

Hey Y'all!

So the week long debate has been whether Chocolate Chip cookies or White Macadamian Nut cookies are better?! Send me your opinion, but consider carefully!

This week you may have heard that a tornado ripped through Nashville. All missionaries are accounted for but Nashville could use your prayers. I am 45 miles north and didn't feel a thing, but I am hoping to take part in the clean up and help the people of Nashville. Transfers are this week so we will see!

The highlight of this week was the baptism of Pedro! We have been teaching him for awhile. He and his wife are in the army; he fixes helicopters-he's awesome! His wife is a member but he couldn't be baptized because they weren't married. So they got married which means he could get baptized and less than a week later he is a member!

One moment where we felt the hand of the Lord this week was to connect with a lady who was hoping to have the gospel back in her life. We normally don't walk, especially that area, but our bikes were back at our apartment and it wasn't our day to have the car. As we were walking back to our apartment from the other missionaries apartment, a lady called out to us and said, "Hey, I'm a member and I just moved here from California." After talking with her more, she had a boyfriend who was not a member and just then she was talking to her mom about how she wanted to find the gospel again when she moved up there. Her mom told her that if she just had faith and trust, the Lord will help her. Just as her mom said that, she saw us walk by in our suites and name tags and called out to us across her driveway. She said goodbye to her mom and ran out to tell us to come back. We are excited to be the Lord's hand in her life!

Prayers for Nashville!
