This week was super awesome because we were able to set some new goals for this Transfer, and we made a Christmas Vision. It's so crazy that we are already thinking about Christmas again! As our District, we all said an amazingly spiritual prayer together and then tried to set some goals that we want to be able to achieve before December -- specifically how many people that He wants us to find and bring to the waters of baptism! It was such a spiritual experiences and gave me so much energy to be able to give my best and just love the people as much as I can in order for God to work the miracles in their lives and achieve the goals that He has set for us!
I really got to know my amazing District this week. We have 3 Americans, 2 New Zealanders, 1 Australian, and 2 Filipinos, which is really diverse. There is a new Trainee from New Zealand named Sister Nathan-Ngaranoa and she is super loud, loving, and excited to serve also. We also did a service project cleaning out a yard full of weeds, which helped us to grow closer together and I am so excited for this transfer!
Also, this week we have seen so many blessings from the ward, and as families. This week was family week in the Philippines. Bishop had a goal to bring a family to church with him, and so he went to one of our investigators houses on Sunday morning and brought them to church with him. This is a family of 11. Only 6 of them were able to come to church, but it was still an awesome sight, and they all felt the spirit and love. Afterwards the whole ward went to their house and did a Family Home Evening with them for the first time. I was so grateful for all of the people that God gives us to work with in order to become one with Him. When everyone works together and becomes unified in one mind and purpose with God, the miracles just explode! I love the Ward, District, and especially my Family. All of these groups of people that God gives us to help one another and others to come back to Him and have good influences on in our lives to see the greatness of following his Gospel!
- We went to trainer-trainee meeting for Elder Bird and guess who was there? Elder Dumalag! He is now training, which was super awesome! We took a picture with Elder Dumalag, his trainee Elder Cericos and I. it was a like a three generation picture! (I'll send the picture next week)
- It finally stopped raining and it was still a little cool, so it felt exactly like it does in St. George. It was a weird feeling.
(Continue to be united with each other and all the groups that God has given us, and we will see miracles! Then we will be very happy with our brothers and sisters! I love you all!)
