Bowling and Pizza

I was able to learn and accomplish so much this week. The first thing that I was able to learn was on Tuesday when I went to DLC (District Leader Conference). I learned about how we need to love our district and how to help them through our examples and love towards them. It was really inspiring. I noticed how much I love all of these amazing Filipinos, and since we didn't have much time for proselyting this week, I really started to feel like what Alma feels when he said 'O that I were an angel' In Alma 29.

Next on Wednesday I was able to give my first workshop to my District. Although I was a little nervous, I really felt the Spirit helping me as I tried to magnify my calling. On Thursday I conducted my first Exchanges with Elder Averill. We had a really good day even though we were punted (all of our appointments fell through). We were able to talk with everyone around us, and found so many new people that are interested in this amazing gospel.

Friday was our day to do our Weekly planning and get ready for the next week and decide what we needed to talk about with our Branch leaders. Saturday I got to do my first Baptism Interview as District Leader with an awesome Tatay named Rod. I love the feeling as the spirit testifies that this soul is ready for baptism and is getting closer to Jesus Christ.

Lastly, on Sunday we were able to extend a BGD (baptism goal date) to one of our investigators. I was so exhausted after this week, but I also felt how much the lord has helped me to grow.

- We were able to go bowling for our P-Day. It was a really fun. (P.S. I got 115)

- I also got to eat pizza while we were there at a place called Shakey's. It was super good to eat pizza again

- We were able to start teaching the Father of Rodeth, the little girl that we baptized last month. It is super awesome because their Mom really wants him to learn of the gospel to become a good example for their kids. It is really spiritual when we teach them because of her faith and desire.

(I love my District and the opportunity to feel God's love for all people through the attribute of Jesus Christ - Charity! I would like to invite you to pray about Charity to strengthen Charity in your life.)

Love,
-Elder Klein
