Santa Lucia, Mabalacat

Elder Gayo

Same Area | New Companion

So much has happened this week that it is hard to write about everything. At the first of the week we had transfers. I was getting nervous for this transfers because Elder Ronte kept telling me I was going to become a trainer. As I thought about trying to train someone, I realized how hard it would be. But, I felt a comfort from the Holy Ghost that it could be an awesome opportunity to serve. As we were driving to our District to learn of the new things happening in the transfer, the Assistant to the President called and told me that I would be one of the new District Leaders in Mabalacat. We also, learned that Elder Ronte would be leaving to Camiling zone, and it was so sad to see him leave. Many of the members in our ward cried as he was leaving. We were able to visit many members this week and gain their trust more as I am going to be staying here in Sta. Lucia.

I was able to get a new companion that just finished his training. His name is Elder Gayo. He is super enthusiastic and has so many ideas about how to help the area. His first companion was also a District Leader, so he has been able to help me learn how to become a District Leader too. This week we have been aligning our teaching, planning, and schedules with each other in order to become united. I feel like I have been blessed so much with the opportunity to have such an amazing companion and to be able to not only serve my companion and the people, but serve my district now. I have seen that as you serve and show your love you start to develop many Christ-like attributes in your life. I also, have been learning so much from the opportunity too.

Lastly, we just learned yesterday that missionaries are allowed to chat and video chat with their families which is a huge blessing for me. It will be cool to see how families will be able to help with missionary work, and how much more powerful the missionaries can testify of how strong families are where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is centered.

- Missionary emails accounts are changing to a different domain. My new email address will be , but all emails sent to my old email address will be forwarded to my new account

- My new Companion is from Cavite which is pure Tagalog so he can talk really well with the people here

- The other District Leader is also from my batch so it is fun to work with him!

- I was able to chat my Parents a little bit earlier. I felt their love and I could see how awesome the revelation will help the missionaries already.

Kapag tinatawag ng Diyos sa inyo, binibigay Niya ang daan upang gagawin lahat na gusto niya para sa inyo. Matututunan niyo sobrang marami!

(When God calls you, He gives the way to do all he wants for you. You will learn so much!)

Love, Elder Klein
