San Pedro de Jujuy

Elder McCauley

Carnaval, Ward Talent Show, and lots of soccer

This week carnaval started! Its this parade that goes from 10pm to 6am on weekends here in february. There is a bunch of dancers and marching bands and stuff and they go crazy all night. They also start right outside the pension so ya fue with sleeping.
Ya Fue. Idk how to describe what ya fue means, but it's an expression here for like the expression "whatever" or just kind of like an expression of giving up i guess.
But more importantly, we had the ward talent show! It was fun because they had a lot of traditional Jujuy dances. I played piano, and the other elders told jokes.
Also we played soccer 3 times this week and we have reactivated like 3 families with it jajaja.
This week I have been focusing on loving the people and wanting to serve them. It really makes the work better. If you can serve your companion and the people you teach the mission goes by much better. Serving in general is how you can make any relationship better. Hay una escritura en mosíah que dice "17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."
can i get some hype in the chat for kind benjamin?
With Love, Your obedient servant, J. Mikolajcik
