Baptisms, asados, and a lot of arroz con leche

This week was crazy loco. It was crazy hot! 105 degrees all week. We had an asado(bbq) with the rama(branch)! it was awesome, My Spanish is constantly improving along with my testimony. We had a BAPTISM. We baptized Javier and hope to soon baptize his mom as well! Life his good here and im finally accustomed to the life here.

Also we ate a ton of arroz con leche

Here is my favorite scripture from this week´s studies:

21 Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to achasten his people; yea, he trieth their bpatience and their faith.

22 Nevertheless—whosoever putteth his atrust in him the same shall be blifted up at the last day. Yea, and thus it was with this people.

Other info from Justin: They have about 200 people that go to church in their area/branch. They probably only have about 80 at a time though. The water pipes are so hot, because it is typically 105-110, that they don't have any cold water. 12 bananas cost about 80 cents. Justin said, "Everyone has a motorcycle, and for every motorcycle there are 2 dogs, who are chasing the motorcycle." He says they call everyone what they look like. So they call him "flacito" (flaco means skinny) (-ito goes on the end of everything as a term of endearment). He says they use water to clean everything, just water, so they pour a bunch of water everywhere & then push it out of the house. :)
