Elder Nielson

Pinata Party

This week was amazing!
My family sent me a pinata for my birthday that I very much enjoyed getting to destroy. :) We also taught a lot of lessons that day so it was pretty much the best!
Because Elder Barney was originally assigned to go to a Spanish speaking mission they want him to continue learning to speak Spanish. That means as his companions we are supposed to be studying as well at that time. Most of mine and Elder Nielson's "studying" involves reading questions off of a book for Elder Barney to respond to. Anyways we got on our first Spanish training call this week. The instructor said some stuff we didn't understand and proceed to put everyone on the call into breakout rooms. We got on and the other Elder we were with started to say some stuff in Spanish that we really didn't understand. Luckily some of Elder Barney's training from MTC came and they talked a little bit back and forth and taught some lessons. It was pretty funny just sitting there lol.
Anyways, we are out of state enforced quarantine and back to phase one of getting back out into the world so life is pretty good. :)

P.S. Think of this scripture when you look at the pictures
Alma 44: 13-14
13 And it came to pass that the soldier who stood by, who smote off the scalp of Zerahemnah, took up the scalp from off the ground by the hair, and laid it upon the point of his sword, and stretched it forth unto them, saying unto them with a loud voice:
14 Even as this scalp has fallen to the earth, which is the scalp of your chief, so shall ye fall to the earth except ye will deliver up your weapons of war and depart with a covenant of peace.
