Elder Reynolds was serving all day - here is some things he shared:
He is doing well.
He and his companion Elder Ortega spent most of yesterday doing service for Hermana Jocy. They helped her family move to a new home. Elder Valledares has a new companion – we didn’t get his name, he is a greenie, from Redding, California – Elder Reynolds said he is way better at Spanish then he was when he came out.
They are still teaching Hermano Hernandez, he didn’t get baptized yet, they are working with him and he needs prayers to quit the cigars.
The weather is warming up and they are staying busy, the ward is really spread out and they also go into the area to the south of their ward along the Rio Grande valley. Many areas have a curfew and they must be headed back to their area before the sun goes down.
Elder Reynolds shared this with us: To believe Christ is to believe that he knows you personally. He has made it possible for EVERYONE of us to return home to our Father. We must only Believe Christ. I know my Savior lives and loves me and you. I know where True happiness and joy is found and I’m trying to share it with everyone that I meet. This has been the GREATEST thing that has ever happened to me to serve a mission. I would never pass up this opportunity, not in a million years, not even if I had to wait till I was 25 to leave. The sacrifice we make to be out here is the most pure and noble thing I’ve ever had the chance to do. I love this Gospel.
