Feliz Navidad from Ciudad Juarez

Okay

This week wasn’t too much better than the last. It’s just as cold as the last week and we have seen a lot of people leaving for the holidays! Most everyone that lives in Tierra Nueva is from Veracruz so they are all packing up and leaving for warmer weather. So the streets are pretty empty and the ones that are still here for the Navidad don’t want to open up their homes in this cold weather.

I don’t know if I forgot to mention that the houses here are basically all built of cinderblocks so when it’s cold outside its colder inside. When people finally heat up their homes they won’t open up for anything. We aren’t letting it affect us we are still working as hard as we can.

This week was pretty fun we had a mission party for Christmas with all of the zones in Juarez were in the same place where we got to eat and watch skits. Our zone did a skit about Samuel the Lamanite and the birth of Christ! I was able to have the important part of being the Star! And let me just say now I practiced all week and I think I was the best star anyone could ask for.

Anyway that’s about it for my week, I’ll send some pics.

cuidese todo
