new investigators

Well ever since I got to my mission it has been pretty dry. We get very little new investigators. My comp and I have been down and the beginning of this week was probably one of the roughest. We went day by day being let down by our referrals and the investigators who stopped keeping commitments. Just a rough week, but we kept working and it payed off. We received a referral and we decided to check it out. The Visente familia, the father works with a member and was asking questions. So the member gave us his address. the father told us he never thought we would come he never thought that out of everyone God would send someone to him but when we showed up he said he knew it was a message worth listening to.

The next thing that really helped was we started getting a ton of referrals. not always very good ones but it gave us more work. Then we had an amazing surprise when an investigator who we had thought had stopped progressing showed up at church! Her name is Monica she's 24 and a mother of 2 daughters. she came and she had many questions. Her whole attitude changed, we could tell she was feeling more ready.
This week has been a trial but I know that we must be tried.. and we must have faith and preseverar hasta el fin.

le amo siempre
