Hey everyone! Twas another wonderful week here in Colville. Let's see, to start if off we had Zone Conference on Tuesday in Spokane so that was fun. I got to see lots of my good friends and we talked about using the Book of Mormon in our finding and teaching efforts. It was a good conference. We met this sweet guy named Kody this week. Kody is a miracle, he got hit by a car a few months ago and should probably be dead now, but he's not. He told us that he wants to kinda start over in his life and have God be a bigger part of it. We told him that's what we do as misisonaries and he really liked that. We read the Book of Mormon with him and he even came to church yesterday. He loved it and said he wants to come back next week. We spent a few days in the other unit we cover, the Ione-Metaline Falls branch. It's a super fun place but it's just out in the middle of no where. We tracted a road along a lake and found 3 people that were interested so that was cool. We met this guy named Paul, and there's a crazy story behind him. So when I was serving in the Brentwood ward about 8 months ago we found and taught this guy named David Hernandez. He met with missionaries for a bit after I left and I didn't hear much about him. Well fast forward to a few days ago, we were getting to know Paul a bit and low and behold Paul is Davids dad! Small world! It was a pretty cool experience to be able to teach his dad and share the Book of Mormon with him. He's coming to church next week so we're pretty excited about that. Now to end this with a scaryish story. We went to go visit someone Elder Butler had met before named Martha. She has a shack in the middle of the woods and it's super creepy back there. We went and knocked on her door and no one answered, as well as her car was gone and so we figured she wasn't home. She lives all alone and her husband died a few years ago in the house. Well as we were standing there looking around her place we heard footsteps on the top floor and then they just stopped. So I mean that was pretty freaky, and Elder Butler heard them too so I know I'm not not crazy! Anyway I hope yall have a great week, I'll talk to ya later! 👻
