Libby/Troy Montana

Elder Tadler

Snow and a Broken Mailbox

Hello everyone! I hope your week was great. We had a pretty awesome week here in Troy and Libby. There wasn't too much out of the ordinary that happened. I went on exchanges with one of our Zone Leaders, Elder Nelson. It was a great experience and we talked to lots of people. We found a few potentials, handed out a few Book of Mormons, and had some great lessons. I learned a lot on that exchange and it was definitely a blessing to be able to go. We had a couple of awesome miracles. One in particular that I'd like to share has to do with someone we're teaching, named Joyce. We had a lesson with Joyce last night, and it went great. We felt like we should teach her about the Gospel of Jesus Christ even though it was only our second lesson with her. We didn't know why but we did it anyway. When we got to the point of Baptism she expressed that she was baptized when she was about 2 weeks old, but wants to be baptized again so she remembers it and makes the conscious decision to do it. We were super excited to hear it but didn't extend the invitation because it didn't feel right. We will probably teach her the Restoration next time and then extend the invitation. It was a great blessing and miracle especially because we had to take Dominic off date this past week. That was pretty sad because I really have grown to love Dominic and his family, but he will be baptized soon!:) Also it snowed some last night and is still snowing a little today. We came to Bonners Ferry to spend our preparation day with the district and met at the Zone Leaders apartment. Elder Herd gave us hair cuts and then we left to come to the church. On the way over Elder Belnap (who is from Arizona) had a little accident. He was driving and slid off the side of the road a little and hit someone's mailbox. It was pretty crazy and we had to get help to pull it out of where it was. We got the people a new mailbox tho so it turned out good, plus they were really nice about it haha. I love you all and remember to keep Lighting the World and keep Christ in the center of your heart this Christmas season!
