- I love going outside for personal study. The air is so fresh, it smells and feels like fall, it's just an extra sprinkle of magic and happiness to start the day πβ¨οΈ
- On Wednesday Elder Campbell's cooking was too good that he made the smoke detector go off π
- On Thursday we were street contacting and saw these 5 high schoolers playing basketball, and we asked if we could play with. Even though I was in suit pants and dress shoes I played pretty well and we had a super fun lil time. At the end we gave then all our contact, told them about how we're English teachers, and we're going to try to meet again next week π₯π
- On Friday we meet in person with a really awesome person. We went to this amazing western antique themed Cafe (so cozy μ¬λ¬λΆ, I'm talking sitting on full on couches, grandmas house style π³). We saw a miracle moment. Our president has been encouraging us to talk about family history more with people, using this as an outlet of bringing others towards Christ. I randomly had the impression to ask if he enjoys family history. He said he does, and he talked about his family heritage. I think genealogy in Korea is so fascinating, literally descending from Ancient Chinese Emperors. But then I showed my family history via the Family History app, and he was FLABBERGASTED about the app!! He immediately asked how to get it, and we showed how to set it up. We had to go pretty quick after that, but we have another appointment set up with him this week. I'm very excited :)) his name is Cheon Jin-Ho, and he's the coolest π
- I went to a bathhouse this week, μμνλ€ πΆβπ«οΈπΆβπ«οΈ
- π¨BIG NEWSπ¨ our lovely Kim BoYun finally came to church on time for the first time ever, which means this was his first time ever partaking of the sacrament!! Our weekly opportunity to renew our covenants is a priceless gift from God, only possible through Christ's Atonement.
- Monday (today) we had combined zone preparation day. We traveled pretty far to go on this really really amazing and beautiful hike around a historical fortress. Enjoy some photos I took π·π―π«
This week I've been growing like CRAZY!! It's so hard some days, especially when you don't take the time to take care of your mental health. But I've been doing a test this week μ¬λ¬λΆ ππ if in any sort of way I just don't feel good, I drop all my concerns for just about one minute, only think about Jesus Christ, and then see how I feel afterwards, or what I realized I need to do differently. πββοΈAnd like actually, it worksπββοΈ The test results are in. So people, the science proves that taking time for Christ only to enter our mind and heart can turn a sour moment into a whatever-your-favorite-flavor-is moment!! These days my favorite flavor is PODO!! Korean grape, it's so good so much better than American medicine grape. So, when I focus on the Savior Jesus Christ, like literally drop all other silly anxious or soggy sad thoughts, life tastes like sweet sweet podo magic mode π₯³πΊπ
I'll close with this wonderful commandment from Christ β¨οΈπ Fear not: believe only, and [you] shall be made whole πβ¨οΈ
