Because of general conference, there isn't very much time for me to write an email. Which I suppose is a good thing because I only have one simple message to share. I leave to Korea this Thursday.
And I'm ready.
I don't feel ready, but I know I'm ready. How? Because the Lord has commanded me to fly to Korea this Thursday, and to spend the next 22 months preaching the gospel and bringing souls to Christ. And "I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them." (1 Nephi 3:7).
One of my favorite talks from conference so far was by Adrian Ochoa of the Seventy, who talked about the story of Peter walking on the water to Christ. He said one principle we can learn from this story is that Peter acted with great faith. The Lord called to Peter and said, "Come," and Peter did just that. He got out of the boat, focused on Christ, and walked towards him. He didn't think "wait, this is literally impossible. Also there's a storm and the waves are huge." No, clearly Peter was aware of the situation, but he didn't focus on that. And this was the main part that I took away from the talk: Peter knew that he could walk to Jesus on the water, because Jesus told him to follow. Therefore, it is possible, because Christ commanded it. And if Christ says if it is possible, then we have no greater witness of the truth, because Christ only speaks pure truth. THEREFORE, let us all be like Peter, and follow Christ to go where He wants us to go, and let us have faith, and not doubt.
I invite you all to watch the rest of general conference tomorrow. Through the words of God's servants, these prophets, seers, and revelators, we can receive answers to prayers, peace, and guidance. And these messages are from the Lord Jesus. I'm so excited to continue watching :)
Love you all!! 사랑해요!! 화이팅 여러분!!
