My spanish is really improving a lot and it is amazing how much we can learn in just 6 weeks with Heavenly Father on our side helping us everyday. We pray A LOT... not a bad thing but I am getting better and better at praying in spanish. A lot of my district stuggles sometimes with spanish but watching people improve with the Lord's help is amazing. Somedays I may get frustrated at something and then I feel like I don't know any spanish at all.
I am speaking more to the workers and latinos and it really is helping a lot. All the workers and lations always are smiling and are always so happy! Elder Empey and I talk with one of the workers in the comador and he calls us his favorite gringos and his amigos. He is so much fun to talk to!
This sunday we got a broadcast from provo for one of our devotionals and it was M Russel Ballard. One of my favorite things he said was CONVERSION AND REACTIVATION COMES THROUGH WHAT THEY FEEL MORE THAN WHAT THEY KNOW. I know they if you show them that god loves them and they feel the spirit you really can convert anyone. What people feel inside of them is the spirit.
It is crazy because i am half way through my MTC time and it has really gone by fast! I can't wait to get into the field but I'm also a little nervous. I can't wait to serve the people of Mexico city and be able to talk to them and understand them. I am sad because my teacher says there aren't very many birds in Mexico city but there are a lot in the MTC and they are one of my favorite things here. They just are all so beautiful and fun to watch and to just think that god created them and that they bring such beauy here to this earth.
I have gotten a lot of time to play vollyball here and it is a lot of fun. The latinos play also and they really are so much fun because they aren't competitive and they just love to play and enjoy it. Me and elder Empey played 3 v 3 in volleyball with some latinos and they just laugh and we will high five all they time. One of them came up to my name tag and he coverd one of the b's and he said like the internet. I guess if that's the way to remember my name i guess it works lol.
Yesterday night we got another broadcast from Provo and it was Neil L Anderson. Just one of my favorite things he said was IN THE MTC YOU WILL BUILD A FLAME OF FAITH AND WHEN YOU GO TO TEACH THE PEOPLE DONT LET ANYONE DIMINISH OR EXTINGUISH YOUR FLAME KEEP YOUR FLAME STRONG AND SHARE IT WITH OTHERS BUT NEVER LET YOUR FLAME GO OUT.
I know that if we build a flame in our hearts and we never let it go out we will bless the lives of all around us. Be yourself, serve others, and share the light you have inside of you and help others build their flame. I love you all! en el nombre de jesuscristo amen.

Funny story:
SO i cant remeber what week it was but it was a dark and hazy morning and i was feeling good about the day. During class everyone wanted to go outside so our teacher said that we could and she said we are going to play a little game of baseball with a chapstickball thing and our big red books. I go out into the outfeild on where we had third base and one of the elders hits the ball...it goes past first and so they threw it to me at third. Well it falls short and is rolling at me so i bend down really fast and RIP at least a 5 inch hole right on the seam of my pants. he runs past me and i stand up with the ball and my companion yells at me to tag him but i don't move at all and no one else saw it happen so no one had any clue what had happened. he gets to the base and they all ask me why i didnt tag them so i just tell them all my pants ripped and i start to kind of laugh and in the end we are all laughing and my compaonion still at that piont has no clue what happned. He finally figures out so i take one of the books and i cover it up and i go change my pants as my compainon followed me and at the next p day everyone said that i was in all of their emails! We joke about playing baseball and when we do i am the pitcher so that won't every happen again but all i know is that i am never going to forget that moment in the mtc!
