This week was another fantastic one here in Sheung Shui full of miracles and also we came across some opposition. It's interesting that right now the whole mission is doing pretty well but as we are seeing success Satan tries to get in the way.
This week we were meeting a potential and mid-lesson a super drunk Irish guy shows up and tries to basically tell our potential about how we were brainwashing him. Luckily our potential investigator couldn't understand English and the guy was so drunk that he barely made any sense to us native English speakers. So eventually we got the dude to leave and we were like, uhh sorry about that! That guy was crazy... it was definitely an experience that I won't forget. Luckily crazy drunk Irish guys can't stop the work!
Other than that this week was pretty good. We found a few new people to teach and we set zone goals for May. It was amazing to see the faith that is in our zone. The Lord is definitely guiding the work these days. My faith has definitely grown a lot since I got here and it's been amazing to see the blessings and results of our faith in action!
I was talking to my companion and we were talking about how setting missionary goals is pretty interesting because you take what you think you can do and then add faith to it and then you can see miracles! Anyway, hopefully some of this makes sense to all of you, if it doesn't though, just know the Church is true.
Hope Y'all have a great week! Add Oil!
Fun fact 1: Sounds like he's going to get a smartphone in the next week or so. Unfortunately, he won't be snapchatting us, they put on software that limits their use to appropriate apps.
Fun fact 2: He got his sticker from Colorado DMV extending his drivers license, so he is still valid!
Fun fact 3: Likely he will get to Skype home on Mother's Day! Yay!
