This week was really quite a fantastic one here in Hong Kong. As you can probably tell by the subject line, the Prophet and Elder Holland came to Hong Kong this week.
It was really quite neat there were so many people that came there were members from HK, mainland, the Phillipeans, North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Australia!
They had Elder Holland speak first which was amazing. He spoke a lot about Joseph Smith's experience in Liberty Jail and about how we can make any situation we are in, whether it be good or bad, into an amazing opportunity to learn spiritual truths.
Then President Nelson spoke, he covered many subjects but one of the things that I thought was interesting was that he really emphasized some of the Gospel Basics about what it means to be a child of God and about the Saviors atonement. He also really emphasized the Book of Mormon and how it and the Bible support each other. He testified that as we read the Book of Mormon our understanding of the Bible will increase and that as we read the Bible our understanding of the Book of Mormon will increase. It was really amazing to be there and hear the Lord's authorized servants.
Also this week was temple week which was also amazing. Another thing that President Nelson talked about was how one of our ultimate purposes is to go to the temple so that we can have the opportunity to partake of all of the blessings the lord has in store for us. It was a fantastic week!!!
Anyway, hope Y'all can feel the love of the Lord! Add Oil!
