Elder Toone

Transfer Week

Hello Family! Thank you for your emails each week!
My week has been GREAT! We have been able to meet with the Duncan family and they are really progressing! Sister Duncan is a non member and her husband was a less active. But, they have been coming to church for the past 2 months now so they are basically active now. Their lives are really flipping around and it makes me happy to see the blessings that the gospel is bringing not only to my life but also to so many lives around me.
I found out today that I am getting transfered! I am headed to the opposite side of the mission. Right now I am in the most East section of the mission and I will be heading to the most West section of the mission called Del Rio! It is on the border of Mexico and I have been assigned to be a Zone Leader! How crazy right? I am looking forward to the new lessons I will be able to learn and from the things that I will be able to see and be a part of! I have a 6 hour trip to take on Thursday but I am excited to see what this new assignment has in store for me!
My new companion is Elder Toone. Yes, my companion right now is Elder Toone but there are two and I am going to be with the other one now! Elder Toone recently just finished serving as the assistant to the president and I am excited to learn all that I can! I'll have to be picking his brain for the best way to do missionary work! Being a Zone Leader comes with some fun responsibilities! I get to go to MLC (missionary leadership council), I will be over a couple districts down at the border, and I get to look for ways to better the Zone in missionary efforts. Basically I will just get to help and serve those members in my Zone. As you can see I am super excited but super humbled knowing this will be a huge responsibility.

I love you all so much and miss you tons! Sorry I didn't have a ton to write about this week! It has been crazy and time just flies by! I saw that Easton has grown. He is basically as tall as Mom and I was freaking out! He is huge and I hear he is wearing my cleats! So cool.
Thanks for all you do for me and helping me to push forward each and every day! I love you so much! Have an amazing week!

Elder Bretzing
