A week closer to spring

Hello everyone!! Crazy enough it's already been another week. The weeks here literally go by like days.
Our friends Amy and Craig are doing really well. I talked about them briefly last week, we only had one lesson since then so I'm hoping to have a couple this week. There so awesome this week were hoping their able to come to church.
Some how we've had a really warm winter for the area which I've been grateful for. With the weather being in the low 30's it's helping me look forward to spring that much more. Don't get me wrong I love winter but being able to see at night and having people outside to talk with will be a nice change.
The past week in our free time my companion and I listened to Saints book and had a hard to stopping until we finished it yesterday. It's so good going through it a second time, I'd recommend reading it. One of the many things that stood out to me was the number of people that apostisied and betrayed Joesph Smith. But, each one of them never denied the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants being true. This testified to me how true both of the books and how important they are as well.
Funny story
Alright so as a missionary you get used to meeting the most crazy people and you wonder where they came from. We had a lesson with someone who has been taught for a while and is really slow. Well anyways we were wrapping up the lesson getting ready to leave when this guy knocks on the door and comes in yelling. We were so confused wondering where he came from. He was trying to tell us about 5 different stories one of them being how he dislocated his and why he had a lighter attached to a stick. We were so confused and before we knew it it was getting pretty late. As we were leaving he tried to tell us one last story wanting some advice lol. Pretty crazy the kinds of people you run into, you seriously never know what to expect. Sorry for it being a bit long.
Scripture for the week:
2 Nephi 9: 39-40, 51
"do not spend money for that which is of no worth, nor your labor for that which cannot satisfy." This is pretty simple but I love these scriptures teaching us that spirituality must be at the forefront of our life. Everything else in life not pertaining to this will never satisfy long enough for us nor give us what we need.
Thanks again for the continual support I receive from each of you. Have a great week!
