Hey family!

Hey everybody! This week was way Awesome with many lessons learned also some awesome lessons taught. Here Goes. To start off our week (well, we have been doing this for the last 12 weeks or so, but) we have our Creole classes every Tuesday and Saturday morning. This week we got to see the fruits of our labors. We saw this through the majority of our new investigators this week 7 of the 10 are from Haiti and we tried our best to speak a mix of Spanish and Creole with them. They are all very excited to start speaking with us and everything. Also we bought some leña (firewood) this week for our furnace so that we don't freeze our buns off out here while were are in the house at least. Other than that we have been working a lot with our two investigators that have been most excited, or motivated to listen and act on what we are teaching them. Antonela and Jesus Ureta. She will be baptized on this Saturday and we are working for a date for him to be baptized.
This week I have really, really learned the importance of a few things during my studies. Reverence is one of the many great reasons to be blessed by the spirit. Also that we all should wake up early so that we can study the scriptures and be blessed with a better spirit throughout the day. This is what a part of the Ensign from June of 2015 says:

Writing with his wife, Barbara, Elder Joe J. Christensen, emeritus member of the Seventy, suggested even more blessings to those who follow the Lord’s counsel on sleep: “There must be an excellent reason for the injunction to retire and arise early [see D&C 88:124]. … The world is a more beautiful place early in the morning. Life is so much more calm. Much more can be accomplished in a shorter amount of time.”

Really this is what I would invite all of you to do. First off that time is the most valuable asset that we posses and if we use it correctly we will be blessed. I promise. Keep choosing the right and doing good. I love you all though. HASTA SEMANA CHOW!😁
