Week 20
Wow! Another week has gone by! Wow. Oh, Mom, to answer your question, yes, semana means week in Spanish! Sorry I forgot that last week.
This has been a simple week, but a week full of the Lord blessing us. I look back, and every single time we talked to someone, every time we has an appointment, the Lord blessed us to say what the people we talked to needed to hear. It didn't matter that we prepared well for the lessons, the Lord helped us know the things these people needed.
It's been an eye opener to see how the Lord works through us, these imperfect people who try their hardest to work in a way that the Lord needs. When we're able to let him work in us, His work is magnified and we have the most success.
One tender mercy Elder Patterson and I saw this past week was that we met with a young woman named María, who, due to her crazy work schedule, has only been able to meet with us once before last week since October. We had a lesson with her this past Thursday and it went super well! We feel like she's pretty prepared, and that the gospel could bless her life. We ended up talking a lot with her about missionaries and our purpose.
All and all, we've seen many blessings come from the Lord as we put our trust in him, and rely on Him as His servants.
I love you all, and I have a testimony of this work. This is the Lords church, and I'm so grateful to be a part of it.
