Week 16

Wow, this past week has been a little crazy, with Christmas and everything! The best part was definitely getting the chance to call my family and see how they're doing. I think it helped me more than I can put words into. I'm so grateful to have been able to see them, and see for myself that they're doing well.

Christmas week, I'm learning, is really slow! The hard part is getting into people's homes, like normal, but they just want to talk to you about the Virgin Mary and Guadalupe! I've decided I've had enough to do with the "both" of them (they're actually the same person)! On top of that it's so bitterly cold out here that nobody is outside at really any period of the day, and it is much harder on street contacts. However, I feel like the people we do end up teaching are more receptive to at least our message of Jesus Christ because of the Christmas season.

I know that this is the Restored gospel of Jesus Christ here upon the earth again, and as latter-day saints we enjoy the fullness of that gospel, and have literal access to God, our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ through Their Priesthood power, which we have.

I love you all, and thank you to all who have sent me cards, gifts, and love this Christmas season. Merry Christmas, and here's to 2017!

Love,

Elder Jaret Kehl
