Week 90

Wow, this week was something else! My last week as a full time representative of the Savior Jesus Christ. I think the hardest part about this past week was knowing the lessons I was setting up with the people we visited was for after I get home! We had a very successful week, too! We had a lesson with an amazing part-member family, who are so ready for the blessings of the gospel together! The dad is a member and the mom and kids aren’t. When we sat down for the first time with them, they told us of the goals they had, and where exactly they wanted to be with the gospel!

We saw tons of little miracles in all aspects of the work! One great experience happened on Saturday, with one of our new investigators. We met him at the Panda Express here in Newberg, and had lunch with him while we taught the Restoration. The Spirit was very powerful, and I know he felt the truthfulness of our message. He accepted the invitation to read from the Book of Mormon and to pray to know if what we shared with him is true! I’m very excited for him!

I’m very grateful for the past two years, and all the things I have learned. I know that the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ truly did occur. Joseph Smith was and is a prophet of God, and through him, truth was restored to the earth. These and other truths have become a part of me, and as I have had the opportunity to share them with my brothers and sisters I have come to truly apply them in my life. I have a firm testimony that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ blesses families and creates bonds that last for eternity with our Savior, our families, and Heavenly Father. I bear my witness as a representative of Christ that He lives and loves us. He wants the best for us, and is so willing to help us as we turn to Him!

I love you all! Have an amazing week! I’ll see you all soon!
